The Theater Doctor is a located in Wesley Chapel, Florida, within The Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Theater Doctor specializes in Home Theater Systems.  It is a family owned and operated business in which Jeff Duncan is “the Doctor".  His company, his employees and his family are active members in several community entities.

Jeff has been an Electronic Technician/Troubleshooting Specialist for nearly 20 years. His career began in the Air Force as an Avionics System Specialist; he went on to become a Field Service Technician for a multi-million dollar textile cutting machine company until he began his career in the Home Theater industry…first New Jersey - now in Florida.

Jeff is a Troubleshooting Specialist. He is the technician that his former employers sent in when no one else could fix the problem. His success rate is unmatched. He is respected by many and challenged by few.

Jeff has excellent Customer Service skills. He is the guy they sent in to calm the irate customer. He assures people that their problems or concerns are valid and will be handled with care.  This Doctor cares about his ‘patients’.

Jeff is a unique Project Manager. When dealing with people who are not sure what they want, he gently guides them in the correct direction. He keeps in mind their budget, their needs and their technical capacity.  Jeff designs a custom system with both the user and the installer in mind.

Jeff takes pride in his work. He keeps a clean organized work area, he is careful and precise; he is neat and orderly.  Jeff has received countless compliments on his added efforts to label wires and tie up hanging cords.  Jeff believes that taking time to ‘do it right’ the first time makes it easier to work with the system now and in the future.

Jeff expects the same from those he employs.  He works hand in hand with each technician, evaluates their performance, gives explicit instructions on his expectations, and prepares them for the tough scrutiny ahead.  Not from our customers, but from The Theater Doctor himself. 

Each member of our staff goes through a background check and extensive questioning before Jeff even considers bringing them out.  A team member of The Theater Doctor can not be – and will not be - sub par.  In exchange, Jeff keeps his team happy.  There are several in house incentives designed to reward excellence and improve moral – this is something Jeff has always been passionate about.  Keeping employees satisfied!
